Colville townhome individual rates may be split in various ways. Because the bottom floor bedroom is the largest in the townhome and has it's own private bath, it is expected that a higher lease rate is paid relative to the two upstairs bedrooms which are a bit smaller and share a bathroom. ___________________________________________________ Colville Gardens (2 bedroom / 2 full bath)

How do Liveffcampus.net rental rates compare to housing on campus? The cheapest available option on campus is in the Highrises where you share a room with someone (literally sleep in the same room) and share a communal bathroom with 17 other students! -the room rate is $294 per student. The most expensive dorm is "Squires" which runs $446 a month. If you choose a Greek Village house, the rate is $464 a month. All these rates are as of August 2006, we do not have newer rates but can make the assumption that the prices have gone up since these numbers were released. How do Liveoffcampus.net rental rates compare to housing off-campus? A new property became available to UNCC students in the fall of 2007 and rates vary between $480 and $520 per room. The property is not directly across from campus so a car or longer walk to class is required. If you see a sign on some student housing complexes that reads "$199 a month!" or "FREE RENT", be sure to get all the information because like most things in life, there is typically a price to pay for cheap or free, especially in a large complex that has many ongoing fixed expenses (advertising, on-site management, maintenance, secretary, etc.).
How do Liveoffcampus.net rental rates and benefits compare to housing in-town (further than off-campus)? If you are considering between renting from us or from an apartment complex in- town, please factor in the $400+ parking pass you'll need to pay for to park on campus which can knock off as much as $33+ a month from your rent if you avoid the parking pass altogether. Additionally, what is being amongst other UNCC students worth to you? Living across from the university allows you to live amongst like-minded students so you can make friends and network.
One check does it all! No need to deal with utility companies. Please note that power/electric is capped at $120/month (UT/UTN) and $90/month (Colville Townhomes). Water is capped at $60/month (UT/UTN) and $45/month (Colville Townhomes). Normal usage typically never exceeds these limits.
